Horizon Yachts
62 Motor Yacht
2003–06
Horizon’s smallest model when she was introduced in 2003, the 62 Motor Yacht is notable for her impressive blend of modern styling, top-quality construction, and very competitive price. Layout options vary from boat to boat, but the standard three-stateroom interior includes a lavish full-beam master suite amidships and an equally luxurious VIP cabin forward. The salon can be arranged with an 11-foot-long sofa or split couches, and both the galley and dinette are forward on the pilothouse level, two steps up from the salon. The high-gloss cherry woodwork found throughout the 62 exhibits the same outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail found in all Horizon yachts. Above, the flybridge comes standard with a double barbecue, sink, and ample room for stowage and lounging. The transom, with its twin lighted staircases, teak swim platform and full-height crew-cabin door, is similar to what you might find on a 90-footer. Additional features include a covered afterdeck with curved bridge steps, teak decks, sliding pilothouse door, and spacious engine room. MAN 1,050hp diesels cruise the Horizon 62 Motor Yacht at close to 20 knots (22–23 knots top).
