The Hampton 560 Sedan—introduced as the 540 Sedan in 2005—is a semi-displacement flybridge yacht designed for extended cruising in comfort and security. (The 540 came with a bolt-on platform as opposed to the 560’s integrated swim platform.) Built in China on a solid fiberglass hull with a wide 16'4"" beam, prop pockets are used to level the engines and allow for shallow water cruising. In addition to the three-stateroom layout pictured below, an alternate two-stateroom interior with spacious amidships master was also available. (The second guest cabin in the three-stateroom layout could be outfitted with a small desk and Pullman style couch that converts to stacked berths.) The cabinets in the salon are made of high-gloss cherry wood, and a full entertainment center with flat screen TV and Bose sound system are standard. Note the frameless salon windows. Flybridge overhangs shade the cockpit and side walkways, and an electric hatch in the cockpit sole provides access to the engine room. A fiberglass hardtop, Corian galley counters, bow thruster, and washer/dryer were standard. Cummins 670hp diesels cruise at 18 knots (low 20s top).
