The Grand Banks 58 is a traditional flush-deck motor yacht with the distinctive styling and quality construction that Grand Banks products are known for. Shes built on a solid fiberglass semi-displacement hull with a wide beam, a graceful sheer, and a deep, prop-protecting keel. This luxurious yacht was clearly designed with long-range passagemaking in mind, and her three-stateroom accommodations provide extravagant liveaboard comforts. The teak-paneled main salon/dining area is a full 210 square feet with the galley conveniently located on the main deck level. Additional features include a pilothouse chart table and settee, a huge flybridge with extended bridge overhangs, secure walkaround side decks, a spacious engine room with standing headroom, and a whirlpool in the owners head compartment. In spite of her size, Grand Banks maintains that the 58 MY was designed to be owner-operated, and all equipment is installed for easy access. Caterpillar 375hp diesels are standard for a 9-knot cruising speed and a top speed of 1112 knots. The cruising range at 8 knots is approximately 1,400 miles.
