Available with sterndrive or inboard power, the Four Winns 338 Vista (called the V355 in 201012) combines the comforts expected in a high-end cruiser with the stable ride and upscale amenities synonymous with the Four Winns brand. Theres widespread agreement within the boating industry that Four Winns delivers a lot of boat for the money. Indeed, if there were a quality gap between this Michigan-based companys products and those from Sea Ray, Formula, or Regal, it would be hard to discern in the 338 Vista. Her space-efficient cockpit, with U-shaped rear lounge, full-service wet bar, portside lounge, and double-wide helm can seat a small crowd. Below decks, the accommodations are as good as it gets in a boat this size. Interior highlights include high-gloss cherry cabinets, 20-inch flat-screen TV, teak-and-holly galley sole, faux granite counters, and leather upholstery. Bow access is via both side deckswhich are very narrowand a walk-through windshield. The fold-down, aft-facing swim platform seat in a nice touch. Engine access is a tight fit. MerCruiser 300hp gas I/Os reach nearly 40 knots top. Twin 320hp gas inboards run a few knots slower.
