Formula 350 Sun Sport
At the top in her class, the Formula 350 Sun Sport bridges the gap between a high-performance dayboat and luxury-class cruiser. This is definitely a fun-in-the-sun boat—ride and handling are superb, and the large cockpit offers every amenity required for daytime entertaining. Built on a smooth-running deep-V hull, the cockpit of the 350 Sun Sport is similar in design to most boats in her class with lounge seating aft, portside sun lounger, wet bar, and a double-wide helm seat. The difference is the quality that Formula always brings to the table: The upholstery is plush; the hardware is the best available; and the finish is mirror-smooth. The cockpit lounge seats eight, and its aft section converts to a recliner for two. A beaujpgully molded wet bar features a sink, Corian countertop, 36-quart cooler, and trash container. At the transom, the aft-facing lounge converts to a full-length sun pad. Forward, a windlass is tucked under a deck hatch—note the foot controls and stainless anchor chute. Helm ergonomics are exceptional. Below, the luxurious cabin of the 350 Sun Sport is as good as it gets in a boat of this type. Twin 320hp MerCruiser I/Os reach close to 50 knots wide open.
