34 PC

1991–2002

Formula 34 PC
Formula got it right in 1991 with the introduction of the 34 PC, a strong-selling boat during her decade-long production run, and a boat with enduring appeal on the used market today. Like all of Formula’s PC (Performance Cruiser) designs, she’s built on a constant deadrise deep-V hull with moderate beam and solid fiberglass construction. The mid-cabin interior will sleep six and comes with an island berth in the forward stateroom and convertible facing settees in the aft cabin. Both staterooms have privacy curtains, and a bi-fold door in the head isolates the shower from the vanity. On deck, a triple-wide companion seat is opposite the helm and the entire aft section of the cockpit can be turned into a giant sunken sun pad. Additional features include well-secured side decks, a molded bow pulpit, transom shower, foredeck sun pad, and a cockpit wet bar. Generally considered a sterndrive model, V-drive inboards were optional (but never all that popular) from 1994–99. A good performer, twin 310hp Volvo or MerCruiser sterndrives cruise the 34 PC at 23–24 knots and reach a top speed in the mid 30s. Cruising speeds with twin 310hp MerCruiser inboards are a few knots slower.
