The Egg Harbor 35 Sport Yacht is one of only a few convertibles her size built in recent years. By any standard this is a handsome, beautifully designed boat, another example of why so many boating enthusiasts have held the Egg Harbor brand in such high regard over the years. Introduced in 1997, she’s built on the same hull once used for the popular Egg Harbor 33 Convertible (1982–89)—a solid fiberglass modified-V design with low transom deadrise and a moderate 13-foot, 2-inch beam. Two floorplans were offered during her production years: a two-stateroom layout with the galley up, and a single-stateroom, galley-down arrangement with a serving counter overlooking the galley. A full teak interior and salon entertainment center were standard in the 35 Sport Yacht, and both floorplans feature a large forward stateroom with island berth and generous storage. Fishing features include a molded tackle center in the cockpit, transom door, and fresh and raw-water washdowns. Standard 310hp gas engines cruise the 35 Sport Yacht at 18–19 knots (about 27 knots top), and optional 350hp Cat diesels cruise at 23 knots and reach a top speed of 28–29 knots.
