An imposing yacht, the DeFever 52 Offshore Cruiser is a heavy displacement cruising yacht whose flush deck design and wide beam yield impressive accommodations for her length. She was built by CTF in Taiwan on a solid fiberglass full-displacement hull with soft aft chines and a long prop-protecting keel. Her enormous double-deck interior is arranged with the galley on the deckhouse level where its open to the salon and cockpit. The pilothouse, three steps up from the salon level, features a watch berth, port and starboard deck doors, and direct flybridge access. A spiral staircase in the aft starboard corner of the salon descends to a full-beam master stateroom with walkaround queen bed, walk-in closet, and ensuite head with tub/shower. From the pilothouse, teak spiral stairs lead down to the amidships VIP stateroom with walkaround queen bed and private ensuite head. The second guest stateroom with over/under berths and private head/shower is forward. Note the day head opposite the galley. The boat deck will carry a tender up to 15 feet in length Standard 210hp Cat diesels cruise at 8 knots with a range of up to 1,200 nautical miles.
