A stylish and well-crafted express by the standards of her day, the Cruisers 3070 Rogue combines a practical layout with rugged construction and spirited performance. Built on a solid fiberglass deep-V hull, the open-plan interior of the 3070 Rogue is arranged like most midcabin designs with double berths fore and aft, a convertible dinette, full-service galley, and a standup head compartment with sink and shower. Privacy curtains separate the sleeping areas from the main cabin, and the refrigerator is located above the galley counter rather than below—a genuine convenience. Note that the head is very compact without much elbow room. Cabin ventilation is excellent thanks to six opening ports and three deck hatches, all with screens. Topside, the 3070’s cockpit includes a wet bar, a double helm seat, stern seats, and a walk-through transom door to the swim platform. The side decks are wide enough for secure foredeck access, and a radar arch was a popular option. Standard 260hp MerCruiser I/Os cruise at 20 knots (low 30s top), and optional 300hp motors cruise at 24 knots and deliver a top speed of close to 40 knots.
