Contender 35 ST

A popular model, the Contender 35 ST is a high-performance sportfishing machine with a double-stepped hull and single-level deck from bow to stern. Like all Contenders, the 35 ST is a semi-custom boat—the company will install pretty much whatever an owner wants as long as it doesn’t compromise the structural integrity of the boat. Well-constructed, scary fast and meticulously finished, the 35 ST easily competes with the best boats in her class. She comes standard with two 40-gallon livewells in the transom but optional livewells—including an in-deck 50-gallon unit—are available for those who need more bait storage. The bow area can be fitted with U-shaped molded seats or a coffin box, and a removable bench seat at the stern allows the crew to relax when not chasing fish. There are four in-deck fish boxes, two forward and two aft, and two forward in-deck rod lockers. The console head compartment is fully finished and lockable, and the console dash has space for two 15-inch displays. K-Plane trim tabs, recessed bow rails, and a transom door are standard. Triple F300 Yamaha outboards deliver a top speed of over 60 knots.
