The Contender 30 ST is a top-tier sportfishing boat that provides owners with an exceptional level of performance and versatility. The 30 ST is based on the Contender 30 Tournament, but with the addition of a double-stepped hull that provides a significant performance boost not only in speed, but also in fuel efficiency and handling. Standard fuel capacity on the 30 ST is 265 gallons giving her a range of 400+ miles depending on conditions. More than just a go-fast fishing machine, however, the 30 ST incorporates several features that family boaters will appreciate including U-shaped bow seating, walk-in console with marine head, forward console seat, and a stern bench seat that folds away while fishing. For a 30-foot boat with a level deck, there’s a lot of storage in the 30 ST. Fishing features include twin 40-gallon transom livewells, 130-gallon insulated forward fish box, 70-gallon insulated forward fish box, two 55-gallon insulated aft fish boxes, and forward in-deck rod lockers. K-Plane trim tabs, recessed bow rails, and a pop-up bow light are standard, and several custom T-tops designs are optional. Twin Yamaha F300 outboards reach a top speed in excess of 45 knots.
