One of the most affordable yachts in her class during her production run, the Bayliner 4387 Aft Cabin MY is a straightforward double cabin cruiser with a somewhat dated (by modern standards) profile and a practical interior layout. She was built on a modified-V hull with a relatively wide beam, prop pockets, and a shallow keel for stability. The two-stateroom floorplan of the 4387 is arranged with the galley and dinette are down, and large wraparound salon windows provide excellent visibility from the lower helm. Note that both staterooms have diagonal double berths. This isnt a high-end interior with plush carpets and expensive furnishings, but it is spacious and designed to appeal to budget-minded buyers. The 4387 features a large flybridge with seating for six, a foredeck sun pad, and an integral transom platform with molded boarding steps. The aft deck comes with a wet bar and hardtop. A light boat for her size (the hull is fully cored), standard 330hp gas engines cruise at 1617 knots. Optional 250hp Hino diesels cruise at 1819 knots (about 24 knots top). Fuel capacity is small for a boat this size, especially with gas engines. The Bayliner 4587 MY is the same boat with a cockpit.
