Drifting through the Bahamas aboard the 98’ Princess flybridge motor yacht NO CURFEW is a sumptuous experience in itself. But anyone who has had the fortune of enjoying a charter vacation knows that it’s the crew who shapes the journey. Acting as the heart and soul of your adventure, this team of experts transforms a mere voyage into a seamless symphony of service and indulgence. From creating curated, gourmet meals to guiding you through a bespoke itinerary with jaunts to exclusive hideaways, they collectively deliver unparalleled service that elevates every moment.
As one of the most popular vessels in HMY’s charter program, NO CURFEW is setting sail for the 2025 season with much to celebrate. In addition to receiving comprehensive service — rendering her mechanically like-new — the luxury motor yacht will also be embarking with a fresh crew ready to delight every guest who steps aboard. We recently spoke with Captain Rory Callahan for a closer look into this exciting new chapter.

The Captain’s Role: Creating an Unmatched Charter Experience
For Captain Rory, a love for the sea runs deep. What started out as a summer job 15 years ago while studying biology has blossomed into a full-time career. “I ended up liking it so much that I stuck with it,” he explains. Nautical ties run through his family, as his brother and uncle have worked as brokers, but Rory took a different route and started as a deckhand. After working his way up as a yacht engineer and supporting a captain who taught him everything he knows about navigation, he’s eager to take the helm of the exquisite 98’ motor yacht alongside some of his nearest and dearest.
Like any practiced captain, first and foremost Rory works alongside the mate to ensure sound navigation and the safety of all passengers. While it’s quite a distance and difference from the New England shores where he grew up, the Bahamas have long been Captain Rory’s home-away-from-home. Guests can expect to collaborate with Rory to enjoy a customized itinerary with visits to hidden gems throughout The Exumas, Nassau, and beyond. This summer, Rory will be back home aboard NO CURFEW, as the boat will be in New England for the season!
The First Mate: Supporting the Captain and Guests
An essential pillar of any yacht’s crew, the first mate serves as the captain’s right hand, overseeing safety, deck operations, and maintenance. And there’s perhaps no one better suited for this vital role than Rory’s close friend, Dimitry Nussberg. A former marine and experienced mate, he handles everything from setting up the toys and tender to performing maintenance duties, while acting as a point of contact for charter guests.

The Chef: Delivering First-Class Fare
Some of the most memorable moments of any vacation are those involving drinks and dining, and chartering NO CURFEW is certainly no exception. With Purdue University graduate (and Rory’s partner) Katie Folkening in the galley, you’ll be treated to world-class fare including delectable dishes and creative cocktails. While she’s been mentored by executive chefs and has both the talent and know-how to cultivate five-star cuisine at every meal, Katie’s value to this crew doesn’t end there. In combined roles as a deckhand and stewardess, she has vast experience in the yachting industry.
Together, this dynamic team has the expertise and finesse to ensure you have everything you could want or need during your time at sea. The remaining new crew members will also soon onboard to cover additional responsibilities as the charter season takes off.
What Else is New for NO CURFEW?
Having recently received an extensive 4,000-hour service, NO CURFEW has been outfitted with virtually all new internal parts. The in-ship internet has also been upgraded to the ultraportable Starlink system, and the entire vessel has also received new TVs and navigational systems. Of course, you’ll still find all the outstanding amenities that have positioned NO CURFEW as one of the most coveted charter yachts in the world, including:
-
An impressive collection of sea toys, including SEABOBS, jet skis, snorkel gear, and a fly board, among others
-
A full-sized spa for up to six guests
-
A generous flybridge with full-sized lounge chairs
-
Four spacious cabins, with room for up to eight guests in total
The first excursion on NO CURFEW’s schedule for 2025 is a month-long charter to the Bahamas booked for March, but dates are still available through the spring and summer.
