Chartering the 98’ Princess NO CURFEW in New England: The Perfect Summer Sendoff
Since first joining HMY’s Charter Vacations program, NO CURFEW has garnered a following of discerning clientele, many of whom return to the 98’ Princess flybridge motor yacht time and again for novel excursions. This season, NO CURFEW has been chartering the Northeast (only a few slots remain), offering a unique opportunity to see the New England Coast in all its late summer splendor. And there’s no better way to take it all in than aboard this expansive and immaculately-appointed Princess motor yacht, brimming with world-class amenities and manned by an experienced crew.
In between outings, HMY checked in with the crew to see what’s ahead for NO CURFEW, including itinerary recommendations for the last summer stretch, and upgrades the vessel will undergo this fall ahead of the winter season in South Florida and the Bahamas.
A Change of Pace Aboard NO CURFEW in the North
While the Bahamas are among the most popular destinations for NO CURFEW, Captain Josh explains that excursions in the Northeast offer a more relaxed experience well-suited to laid-back clientele. With warm days, cool nights, and landscapes still lush with foliage for a few more weeks, the New England Coast is a sight to behold this time of year. You can expect stunning views no matter where you venture in the region, and whether you’re a longtime resident or just passing through, you’ve never seen the Northeast quite like this.
Having chartered the area extensively, the crew on NO CURFEW knows the ins and outs of coastal New England — including popular hotspots and hidden gems alike — and NO CURFEW is the premier way to take them all in. These Northeastern trips often encompass sightseeing, shopping, and one-of-a-kind dining, all while showcasing the region’s old-world charm. There are indeed plenty of ways to keep busy if you so choose, because beyond this wealth of activities, there are also scenic surroundings to relish; mountainous vistas, historic lighthouses, and picture-perfect panoramas abound.
The possibilities for a late-season seaside getaway are nearly limitless, and itineraries can be catered to clients’ unique desires and interests. If you’re seeking inspiration, here are just a few suggestions:
Newport to Martha’s Vineyard
- Depart from Newport, RI and cruise to Block Island, where you’ll find the breathtaking Mohegan Bluffs, secluded Mansion Beach, and iconic Southport Lighthouse.
- Make your way to Nantucket for a day of museum visits and boutique shopping, or tour the breweries for local libations.
- Cruise over to Martha’s Vineyard for spectacular views of the Aquinnah Cliffs and a glimpse at the area’s charming cottages.
Connecticut River
- Start out at Old Saybrook, one of the oldest towns in the state, where the mouth of the Connecticut River meets Long Island Sound. Stroll down main street for shopping and dining, and take in the views of the iconic Lynde Point Lighthouse.
- Stop at Essex Island in Safe Harbor, a 13-acre island with its own marina and a quaint village atmosphere.
New York City
- While most Northeastern charters are concentrated in New England, Captain Josh notes that an alternate New York City itinerary allows you to see the Big Apple in an entirely new way. Cruise up the Hudson River and anchor near the Statue of Liberty, then take your pick of all the dining, shopping, and entertainment the city has to offer.
Looking Ahead: NO CURFEW’s Schedule Through 2024 and Into 2025
Since joining HMY’s Charter Vacations program, NO CURFEW has quickly become one of the more popular vessels, with bookings steadily increasing every year. In addition to the remaining limited availability this summer, several weeks are already booked in the winter season by new and repeat customers. Stunning Florida trips, with options for the Keys and the Okeechobee Waterway, and exhilarating Bahamas excursions, await for those who don’t delay.
For those lucky enough to secure a winter charter vacation with NO CURFEW, they will be walking onto a newly refurbished yacht. Before beginning her winter voyage, NO CURFEW will undergo comprehensive upgrades and services in the fall, including a full paint job, a 4,000 hour engine overhaul, and teak decking refinishing.
Now is the time to reserve your NO CURFEW charter experience, whether it’s for New England in the coming weeks or a Florida or Bahamas trip in the winter. Limited dates are available in August and September, while winter dates start in mid-November. We encourage you to act quickly to reserve an unforgettable experience.
