Viking 70 Convertible, 64 Sport Coupe, 50 Sport Coupe and Valhalla 46 Sport Yacht debut in Fort Lauderdale
NEW GRETNA, N.J. – Sept. 1, 2026 – Viking Yacht Company and Valhalla Boatworks will present four world premieres at the 2026 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, Oct. 28-Nov. 1: the second-generation Viking 70 Convertible, Viking 64 Sport Coupe, Viking 50 Sport Coupe and Valhalla 46 Sport Yacht.
The introductions range from 46 to 70 feet, from tournament fishing to owner-operated cruising. Each was developed through Viking's in-house design, engineering, tooling and manufacturing operations.
Viking President and CEO Pat Healey called the four introductions “a great year of product development” and credited R&D, Vice President of Design and Engineering Lonni Rutt, Viking Design Manager David Wilson and their teams.
Viking 70 Convertible
The second-generation Viking 70 Convertible replaces the 68 and builds on Viking's experience in the 68- to 72-foot range. Viking delivered 62 boats in the 68 Series and 220 yachts from 68 to 72 feet. Development of the new 70 also drew from work on the 74, 82, and 90.
The 70 is three inches narrower than the 68. Viking refined the deadrise, chine placement and strake geometry while lengthening the cockpit to give the crew more working room. The cockpit measures 194 square feet.
Below the waterline, the 70 uses propeller pockets, Veem propellers, Optimus electric power steering and three recessed trim tabs. The mechanical package also includes a centralized seawater system, touchscreen fuel management and Seakeeper preparation.
Hull No. 1 will debut as an Open Bridge model with a Palm Beach Towers tuna tower. Enclosed Bridge and Sky Bridge versions are also available. The Open Bridge has a center-console helm with three helm chairs and seating forward and to each side.
Inside, the 70 has four staterooms and five heads. Owners can choose peninsula or island galley arrangements along with queen or crossover forward accommodations. The aft crew stateroom can be accessed through the engine room.
Hull No. 1 is powered by twin 2,200 MHP MAN V12X diesels. Its anticipated top speed is about 43 knots.
Specifications: 70 ft. 10 in. LOA; 18 ft. 11 in. beam; 5 ft. 6 in. draft; 194-sq.-ft. cockpit; 2,530-gallon maximum fuel capacity; 345-gallon water capacity.

Viking 64 Sport Coupe
The 64 Sport Coupe is the largest Sport Coupe Viking has built.
It uses the proven 64 Convertible running surface, while everything above the sheer was developed specifically for the Sport Coupe. The command deck has a full-width laminated windshield, raised helm and direct access to the cockpit.
The lower helm includes air-conditioning vents, windshield defoggers, electronic trolling valve controls and touchscreen vessel monitoring. Optimus electric power steering is standard.
Owners can choose galley-up or galley-down arrangements. Galley-down boats have three staterooms. Galley-up configurations provide four. Additional choices include athwartship or fore-and-aft master arrangements plus queen or crossover forward berths.
Preliminary testing with twin 2,200 MHP engines indicates a top speed approaching 45 knots.
The 180-square-foot cockpit includes a transom live well, bait freezer, tackle storage, insulated chill box, refrigerated drink storage and in-deck fish boxes. Engineroom access is through the cockpit.
The platform can also be configured as a Sport Tower with a custom Palm Beach Towers tuna tower.
Specifications: 63 ft. 7.5 in. LOA; 18 ft. 10.5 in. beam; 5 ft. 5 in. draft; 180-sq.-ft. cockpit; 2,185-gallon maximum fuel capacity; 302-gallon water capacity.

Viking 50 Sport Coupe
The 50 Sport Coupe is part of Viking's four-model 50 Series. The 50 Convertible, 50 Billfish, 50 Open and50 Sport Coupe share the same running surface but are engineered for different applications.
The Sport Coupe puts the helm on a protected command deck while maintaining direct cockpit access. A single-piece windshield provides clear visibility ahead. Port and starboard seating, a dinette and raised helm create a climate-controlled living area underway.
The cockpit has in-deck fish boxes, a transom live well and refrigerated storage beneath the mezzanine. The platform can also be configured as a 50 Sport Tower with a custom Palm Beach Towers tuna tower.
Below, the two-stateroom layout includes a forward master, guest cabin, galley and dinette. Owners can choose a Pullman berth or rod storage outboard of the dinette along with a day head or rod-and-tackle locker farther forward.
Twin MAN V8 1200 MHP diesels provide the power.
Specifications: 51 ft. 8 in. LOA; 17 ft. 1 in. beam; 4 ft. 9 in. draft; 131-sq.-ft. cockpit; 1,200-gallon maximum fuel capacity; 180-gallon water capacity.

Valhalla 46 Sport Yacht
The Valhalla 46 Sport Yacht brings the Sport Yacht concept introduced with the 55 into a 46-foot, 7-inch platform.
Owners can choose an open or enclosed pilothouse. The open version connects the command deck and cockpit. The enclosed configuration adds powered doors and an aft bulkhead with a summer kitchen and retractable glass. A powered sunroof is standard.
The cockpit has port and starboard balcony doors, a U-shaped lounge with hi-lo table and a port boarding door. The aft bulkhead summer kitchen includes a grill, sink, icemaker and refrigeration. Forward, wraparound bow seating and sunpads provide another outdoor area.
Below, the standard arrangement includes two staterooms. The forward master has a walk-around island queen, while the aft stateroom has side-by-side berths. The galley includes refrigeration, an induction cooktop and microwave.
The 46 rides on Michael Peters Yacht Design's stepped V ventilated tunnel running surface. Mechanical equipment includes a Hooker sea chest, Zipwake trim control and 12kW diesel generator. Triple or quad Mercury V12 600 Verados are offered.
Available equipment includes a Seakeeper 6, proportional bow thruster integrated with the Mercury joystick, watermaker and factory-installed Garmin or Simrad electronics packages.
Specifications: 46 ft. 7 in. LOA; 13 ft. 4 in. beam; 795-gallon maximum fuel capacity; 85-gallon water capacity; 2,400 maximum engine hp.
Specifications and performance figures are preliminary and subject to change.
