
Miami Dolphins Foundation Fins Weekend Fishing Tournament

Now in its 21st year, the Miami Dolphins Foundation Fins Weekend Fishing Tournament is a one-day, off-shore tournament featuring fishing for dolphin, wahoo, kingfish and tuna. Miami Dolphins players, coaches and alumni participate in the prestigious sport fishing event of the year, where unique prizes are awarded for the largest fish in each category and for the greatest combined weight of eligible fish per boat. Date: Saturday May 20, 2017
6:30 a.m. – Dockside breakfast
8:00 a.m. – Lines in the water
3:00 p.m. – Lines out of the water
3:30 p.m. – Last weigh-in
5:30 p.m. – Fins Weekend Champions Celebration
There will beppearances by Dolphins players, coaches, alumni, and cheerleaders. In addition to the fishing, there will be a line and silent auction as well as entertainment
2017 Fins Weekend Fishing Tournament Rules:
Fishing boundaries: Territorial waters of the US, that’s 25 miles to the east and marked on all charts. No boundaries to the north or south.
Live chumming is allowed.
Treble hooks are allowed.
Species: Kingfish, Dolphin, Wahoo, Tuna, Sailfish (catch and release)
Will defer to IGFA rules
