The Viking Yachts 44 Convertible is a mid-size fishing machine designed specifically for customers who find this amount of boat to be fitting for their space, layout and performance needs. If the 48 convertible is a little too much boat for you and the 42 Convertible isn’t quite enough, the Viking 44 Convertible should do the trick. The 44 Convertible hasn’t yet made it to the production line like her sibling the 44 Open but planning for the build of hull number one is in the final stages of pre-production. Originally announced at the Miami Boat Show, the new 44’ Convertible made its debut at Viking’s annual VIP preview event in early February 2018.
The Viking 44′ has taken a page from the book of her successful predecessor, the 42 Convertible, implementing a handful of the 42’s most ordered features. Some of the highlights you can expect to find on board the 44 Convertible include standard power or MAN I6 CRM: 800 MHPs, oil change system for engines, generator and transmissions, generator upgrade to Onan 13.5 kw, a mid-ship master stateroom, mid-ship master stateroom, sheets for beds, polished Corian countertops, upgraded helm chairs, cockpit freezer, drink box, livewell in transom box and a fuel capacity of 845 gallons w/ fuel transfer system. As this latest addition to the Viking fleet begins to come to life on the production line at the Mullica factory, will we will bring updates on her progress. Stay tuned!
