Founded in 1982 and based in Gdanzk, Poland, Galeon continues to push from its European base into the American market. In the years since 1982, the production of new Galeon yachts has grown as the company added a second production facility and partnered with notable design firms in Europe. Up until recent years, Galeon yachts were produced only for the European market, primarily in Germany, where they sold most of their boats. Currently, Galeon employs over 1,400 production professionals.

Today’s new Galeon yacht lineup includes 29 different models ranging from the compact 300 Fly to the impressive 780 Crystal which is just over 80 feet long. Their product range extends to four distinct styles: Sports Cruiser, Hardtop, Flybridge and Skydeck. Hull sides are foam-cored like most modern yachts, but the bottom sections are fabricated with resin-infused fiberglass to keep the weight down low in the keel for stability. The superstructures of new Galeon yachts are made from lightweight resin-infused carbon composite and beautifully finished carbon fiber sections. At Galeon’s new facility, the Polish builder manufactures just about everything in-house.
