Salon and Galley

Slightly off center to starboard is the entrance door from the cockpit to the interior of RUNNING OVER. The recently refit main salon is quite striking. She looks like a much newer yacht with a modern primary color combination of grey and blue. Her high gloss teak woodwork combined with new grey textured carpet, blue and grey fabric wrapped window treatments, and the newly upholstered grey sofa and dinette make for a modern elegant interior décor scheme. The large salon windows and 6’8 head room also helps to give this interior and open airy feel. Immediately to port is the large L shaped re upholstered grey sofa. There is a high gloss teak coffee table and a small fixed teak end table separating the sofa from the athwartships galley half wall and countertop. The outboard starboard side of the salon is all high gloss teak cabinetry housing electrical panels and audio-visual components. All interior lighting has been upgraded to LED.

Just forward, but fully incorporated with the salon is the galley to port and dinette to starboard. The re upholstered grey dinette has a high gloss teak table. Just above the dinette on the forward bulkhead is a large updated flat screen TV. Just across from the dinette is the fully appointed galley. The galley on RUNNIING OVER has everything a ship board gourmet would require, including:

– Black granite counter tops

Lower Accommodations

There is a centerline stairwell between the galley and dinette that will lead you down to the lower accommodations. When you reach the bottom of the stairs there is a over under washer dryer arrangement immediately to starboard. The washing machine was recently replaced with a new top loading high efficiency unit.

Following the companionway forward we have a bunk bed guest room to starboard. This guest room features:

– Over under berths

– Direct access to a shared head

– Climate controls

– Custom soft goods

– Ample storage

Across the hall from the guest room is our Master Stateroom. The master has been tastefully redecorated with custom fabrics, bed coverings and pillows. The centerpiece is the island queen berth with blue fabric wrapped headboard against an aft mirrored wall. Additional master stateroom highlights include:

Elevated on the port side is an additional single berth. This arrangement works extremely well for families and fishing programs where sleeping a couple extra guests is important. This stateroom shares a full head with the bunk stateroom. Some additional features include:

– Custom soft good package

– Natural light from overhead hatch with sunshade

– Flat screen TV

– Mirrored fwd bulk head

– High gloss teak wood work

The flybridge on the 55 Viking convertible is well know for being best in class. She offers a longitudinal bench seat to port and an L shaped seating area forward of the helm. Excellent layout, seating, space and storage are just a few of the things that make the bridge great. RUNNING OVER has taken a great bridge and added custom beige cushions to all seating areas including the two teak helm chairs. In 2018 she had a new Sea Crylic enclosure done on the bridge. Visibility is great both forward for navigation purposes and aft for docking purposes. The cockpit sunshade has a large aft section that folds up to give the captain the ability to see and quarterback all fishing action. RUNNING OVER has been upgraded and custom outfitted with a full array of new electronics!
