With her dramatic styling, new hull form, and honest 40-knot performance, the 60 Convertible was a benchmark Viking yacht.

Available with an open or optional enclosed bridge, the dramatic sheer and black windshield mask of the Viking 60 Convertible created an aggressive new Viking profile still admired today. Entering through the sliding door in the cockpit, the interior volume is immediately apparent thanks to the nearly 19 feet of beam. In the salon, the settee is aft and the dinette is forward on the starboard side, opposite the U-shaped galley with a granite counter, bar stools, and under-counter refrigeration drawers. The 60C came in either a three or four stateroom configurations, both with an amidship master to port with a diagonal queen bed. To starboard is a step-down cabin with twin single berths or an upper single and an oversized twin. Both the forward master and guest staterooms come with their own head with stall shower. For many, the heart of the Viking 60 Convertible is her sprawling 170-square-foot cockpit complete with a 40-gallon in-deck livewell, two insulated in-deck fish boxes, and a built-in tackle center. Hatches in the mezzanine deck conceal a freezer, a refrigerated drink box, refrigerated bait box, and engine room access. On the flybridge, the Palm Beach-style helm features single-lever controls and dash space for three large video displays. Built on a new Viking hull with more convex sections forward and aft, 1,825hp Cat C32 diesels cruise the 60C at 35 knots (40 knots top).
