Yet again, Viking Yacht company has produced a sportfish that is the avid angler’s dream, combining luxurious elegance with tournament winning power and agility.

Beginning with the resin infused beamy hull, the new 48 Convertible carries its breadth farther aft for more interior volume, a wider cockpit, and more running surface. Powered with MAN diesels, the 48 Convertible will cruise at 30 knots with a top end in the mid 30 knot range depending on engine selection, load, sea and other environmental variables. The raked entry and forward chine are expertly designed to pierce through head seas and divert spray downward. Convex hull sections add curvature and form to the running surface, while molded running strakes accentuate lateral tracking and maneuverability.

Hey, how's it going? I'm Forrest Robertson of HMI Yacht Sales. Today we're going to take a look at a 48 Viking convertible that is available today in stock. Jump on board and let's take a look. Starting here in the cockpit of the 48 Viking convertible, you can see we're set up for fishing, cruising, entertainment. We have immediately two fish boxes port and starboard side full length, transom fish box plumbed as a live well, transom door with gate for access for either swimming, diving, bringing fish in on the transom. Moving forward in the cockpit here, you can see we have a nice mezzanine seat pointed by ultra leather material. Underneath the mezzanine, you have plenty of refrigeration, plenty of access, engine room access, drink box in front of the salon door, and then all the way to the port side, you have your tackle station. Some of the major components that we have in this engine room on top of the man V8 1200 horsepower engines is we have a water maker, 700 gallon per day unit, Eskimo EI 540 will discharge into your fish box, and then the ElectroSea clear line unit preventing marine growth and all your raw water components every time it runs. Now we're going to take a look at the flybridge. All right, up here on the flybridge, we have a nicely appointed center console helm. Up here you can see we have the three Garmin screens, very user friendly, very easy to interact with, man engine displays, and then here on our port and starboard side radio boxes, we have all controls for seakeepers, ice maker, stereo, spotlight, water maker, backup man engine controls, and all the lighting throughout the boat. And to top it off, we have a nice teak helm pod made by release here. Another great option built into the flybridge console is within your teak release helm pod, you have the Palm Beach style controls with DC bow thruster built in for ease of maneuvering, docking, and so forth. For the seating configuration, we have an excellent layout. You have to your port and starboard side, two full length bench seats, center line forward seat, and then your two nicely appointed release helm chairs with access to your U.S. 9 rails directly overhead. As we walk into the interior on the 48 Viking convertible, one of the things you notice immediately is the high gloss walnut finish woodwork throughout. Immediately moving over here to the port side as you walk in, we have access to our AC and DC breaker panel. Moving forward, we have a nice settee, U-shaped dinette with ample storage underneath and your Samsung flat screen TV. Moving forward to the galley here, you can see it's a full functioning galley off a four burner, mainly stovetop. We've got a full stainless steel sink here with garbage disposal, plenty of pantry space overhead with cabinets that roll out. Moving back to the peninsula islands, we have two Sub-Zero refrigerators and two Sub-Zero freezers with more storage as well. Then looking directly aft, we have the salon sofa nicely appointed in the ultra leather with gray piping. And that's plenty of storage throughout there as well for tackle, gear, parts, however you'd like to use it. Immediately walking down the companionway, one thing that's nice is we have a fully operational washer and dryer system. Just past your washer dryer, over here on the starboard side, you have your head that doubles as a day head and access to your starboard stateroom. Separate shower stall, Amtico flooring, nice and open. Over on the port side of the boat, we enter into the master stateroom. On the master stateroom, we offer a full island berth, hanging lockers, plenty of drawers for storage throughout, flat screen TV, and dedicated access to your own head. Here in the forward stateroom, we offer upper and lower bunk, flat screen forward, overhead Bomar hatch, and hanging locker as well. Thank you for joining us on this walkthrough of the 2023 Viking 48 convertible. Again, this boat is available for immediate delivery. If you have any further questions or inquiries, please feel free to reach out to me, Forrest Robertson at HMI.
