Hull 68-055 (Hull #55) is an open bridge convertible that had a commanding presence even before completion. During the initial sea trials with her twin MTU Series 12V2000 M96X that are rated at 2002MHP a piece – 68-055 ran like a true battlewagon.
The cockpit onboard this 68 will surpass any angler’s expectations, with all the important options such as an Eskimo Ice Chipper, ample refrigeration throughout such as a refrigerated sole fish box on the port side, and mezzanine air conditioning in the overhang. The captain and crew will appreciate the open bridge on 68-055, especially the custom helm layout. The helm layout is the same as a 64 convertible, with a full flush mounted helm console that gives the captain easy access to all the electronics bocatech switches. Most notably, however, the forward helm seating is a full sun lounge, which gives guests the ability to stretch out their legs on the ride out to the fishing grounds.
This helm layout is extremely rare and sets 68-055 apart from the rest of the 68 fleet. HMY is also excited about the décor onboard 68-055. With a high gloss finished walnut wood package with a horizontal wood grain orientation, the mix of blues and whites throughout provides a nice compliment to each other and overall, a classic feel to the vessel. 68-055 is here and ready to deliver to someone lucky for the summer tournament season.

How's it going guys? I'm Forrest Robertson of HMY Yacht Sales. Today we're standing on an in-stock 2025 68 Viking Convertible. We're going to start off here in the cockpit and take you through the boat. Dead center here in the cockpit, we have a Blue Water Evolution Series fighting chair. It gives you six rod holders in the rocket launcher back and four rod holders in the armrest and a massive oversized footrest for fighting those big fish. Starting centerline here, we have a nice sized transom livewell that can double as a fish box. Over to the starboard side of the boat, we have a through transom gate with flip over coaming. And then we also have plumbing for on-deck livewells and 12 and 24 volt electric reel plugs underneath the coaming. Beneath me here, we have access through a single hatch on an actuator to our SeaKeeper 26. In-deck, we also have twin full-length fish boxes. Moving forward in the cockpit, we have access to ample amount of refrigeration, additional storage, drink box, and access to our engine room through the mezzanine. This boat was packaged with the Cool Breeze mezzanine air conditioning system, which allows you to stay cool on those hot summer days. Here we are on the flybridge of the 68 Convertible. One thing that's pretty neat about this boat specifically is we took this console right off the 64 Convertible to really maximize the space and functionality for entertaining friends, guests. To my right here, you'll find three Evolution Series Blue Water helm chairs, very nicely appointed in the ultra leather and Bentley stitching. To my left here, we have the console, nicely appointed with the flush black acrylic dash and three 17-inch Cetronics screens. Very easy to touch, very easy to handle. And then you have your radio boxes port and starboard side and drop down box overhead with your redundant garment screen, autopilot, SeaKeeper, and your Furuno RD33. Overhead, we have two US-9 teaser reels, which are also accompanied by two hydraulic riggers. Here we are at the front of the flybridge on the 68 Viking Convertible. We have this nice sun lounge with an elevated leg rest. Underneath the sun lounge is additional refrigeration. And then on each side of the flybridge, we have a port and starboard side bench seats wrapped in ultra leather with Bentley stitching as well and additional rod storage underneath. Behind me, we have a freshwater washdown with spray nozzle. And then adjacent, we have another drink box that's refrigerated as well. One thing that really makes this boat great is that this is the newest 2025 68 Viking Convertible on the water with the updated flybridge layout. Here we are in the salon of the 68 Viking Convertible. One really nice feature of the 68 Convertible is it offers the day head. Through that day head, you do have visibility of the cockpit to constantly keep your eyes on the thread while you're fishing. As you walk into the salon door, immediately on your left, you have an L-shaped sectional couch. One really nice thing about this couch is it offers ample storage underneath. As we move forward to the galley, you can see we have three really nice bar stools with backs that immediately butt up to an island galley setup. And forward of that, you'll see we have all our necessities as far as Sub-Zero refrigeration, cooktop, sink, ample cabinet storage that really make this boat livable during fishing season and traveling. Over here on the port forward side of the salon, we have a nice U-shaped dinette that can comfortably sit up to six people. Underneath, we have rod storage that you can customize to your tackle specifically. And then as well as an additional flat screen TV that mirrors the starboard side salon high low TV. Here we are in the companionway, which gives you access to each of your four state rooms with individual heads. And then in that companionway, it also gives you linen closet, washer dryer and additional storage throughout. Moving through the companionway, the first stateroom you find on your right is a crew stateroom. The nice thing about the crew stateroom on the 68 is it does offer access through the engine room and then through the cockpit. Here we are entering into the master stateroom. One thing that you immediately notice is the pop of the high gloss walnut finish. The colors chosen in this stateroom really make it pop and pull it all together. To the port and starboard side, you have two large hanging lockers, plenty of storage underneath this island bunk. And then on your bulkhead is a very generous entertainment center. And then you have immediate access forward to your head. Here we are on the port forward stateroom. As you can see, we have an upper and lower bunk, entertainment for two, and a dedicated head with ample storage. Here we are forward in the boat in the VIP stateroom. As you can see, it's complemented by a nice full size island berth, storage overhead, upper cabinets, flat screen TV, and directly adjacent to that is access to your dedicated head. This particular 68 Viking is powered by twin V12 MTU 2000 horsepower engines. The engine room also contains two 29 kilowatt generators, multiple carrier refrigeration units, Eskimo ice chipper, ElectroSea system, Furuno Omni sonar, and various other equipment to get you through your travels.
