Hi, I'm John Dahl. Today I'm going to take you on the Eclipse 505 Shadow. Welcome aboard. You know, one of the most important features on this boat are the three 600 horsepower V12 Mercury motors, delivering 1800 total horsepower to propel this boat through the water at speeds in excess of 50 miles an hour. One of the biggest attributes to this program is there is a dedicated Eclipse service center for these boats at our Willoughby yard in Stewart, Florida. These two control buttons control the retractable deck in front of the motors. So you can lift it up, tilt the motors up, and when they're down, you have an access walkway to the rest of the deck. A luxurious feature is the real wood decks. Goes throughout the entire cockpit and to the fold-down beach club swim platform. Just push a button and watch it go down. You can add the swim ladder so you can just set the way for your off-shore adventure. As you can see, we have plenty of access to the seating here that comfortably seats four to five at this table, which folds up and down for access through your hatch on the deck. Unique to this specific hull is the pass-through entryway that folds down into the deck and vanishes from sight and gives you unobstructed passage to the dock. To maximize the entertainment factor on this boat, you have a counter that is high enough with two high-quality stainless steel removable bar stools for pass-through on a retractable window to the whole cockpit area, making this one entertaining area from the salon to the cockpit. This entire area is covered by a hardtop and removable sunshade. There's a significant difference in this removable sunshade up and down on a day like today of 94 degrees here in South Florida. It allows you to have real entertainment space on any day down here. You know, a couple unique attributes to this boat are the stainless steel handrail and the faux teak cap rail. The benefit to faux teak is there's no maintenance, which equates to saving dollars and not a lot of work. You have a nice foredeck that has ample space for toys, or if you want to put a sun pad up there. The forward seat deploys from in the deck, so it's hidden when you run and up when you're wanting to sit forward-facing. You've got real wood speakers with its own Fusion control here and your anchor hatch. When you look at the details like the hardware throughout this boat, you can tell it's high quality. Key features in this galley include stainless steel sink, retractable window for pass-through ability to the aft deck, induction cooktop, convection microwave oven. On top of all that, you have an abundance of storage from a micro pantry to ample drawers on both sides of the galley. I like to point out the under-counter refrigerator freezers. There's four drawers. You can use them in a combination of refrigerator or freezer. And next to that is another pullout storage rack for any of your consumables. Then we have a very large counter space inclusive of a 110 outlet for your margarita blender. All this is conveniently located next to your entertainment center with a pop-up flat screen TV. And of course, you have storage below. In the salon, we have panoramic views with the cool over the glass to knock down that heat. One of the things you might notice as we look around is the UV coating. It's not apparent to your eye, but the camera picks it up. And that knocks down all the ultraviolet light into the interior of the boat. What we have here is a U-shaped seating with a high-low table that folds back for easy access in and out. And the table is electric and goes up and down. This area is also conveniently serviced by the galley where you can sit six people for breakfast, lunch, or any type of entertaining. You have a panoramic view sunroof. Along with that is retractable sunshade that covers the area. Everything you could want or desire is at your fingertips at the helm. You have a joystick control that has skyhook on it, autopilot, your regular Mercury controls that control your engines up and down. Then you have your Humphries control over here, bow thruster, electric bow thruster at that. Your Garmin full array GPS nav module that not only monitors your engines, your charts, your radar, multifunction at your fingertips. All your lighting buttons here. Then you have your VHF radio, your start and stop buttons, and all your controls for transferring your generator power on and off. The guest stateroom, which doubles as a day head, gives you the feeling of almost being in a spa with the luxurious finishes. Leather borders around the bed, wood throughout, fabrics up on the headboard, reading lights that are European style. You also have hanging lockers, your entertainment center on the wall. Very ample day head. You have a sink, a toilet, and a shower with a glass door. When you walk into the master head, the first thing you notice is space. The shower has a seat in it and a very high quality European style shower. You have storage above the counter, a mirror that comes out of the wall. There's an abundance of natural light. The master stateroom, as you enter, you'll notice has a queen size island bed. You can access either side of the bed with ease. A great feature is the ambient light in this master stateroom with port and starboard hull hatch windows, as well as the overhead skylight. On the port side, we have a full hanging locker. Under the bed has a pullout drawer. You have on the bulkhead, your entertainment center flat screen TV. In the counter, you have a pop-up vanity. The comfort of the natural woods, the leather, the fabrics, and mostly the ambient light and the panoramic views. I'm getting an oceanfront view below deck on a boat under 60 feet, which is almost unheard of. The way it makes me feel is almost indescribable. It is so luxurious, so comfortable, so quiet. There's nothing like it. It's the best hotel room that you could ever get. Thanks for coming aboard the Eclipse 505 Shadow.
