The new 64 Convertible’s unbroken S-shaped sheer flows gracefully from bow to stern. The swept-back black-masked windshield, pronounced hull and deckhouse feature lines and distinctive hull-side vents give the 64 an unmistakably Viking profile that is recognizable and admired around the world.
The hull has been built with an engineered composite of fiberglass fabrics and coring that’s vacuum-infused with vinylester resin. Great stiffness and strength is brought to the structure while minimizing weight utilizing a calculated resin-to-fiberglass ratio. The structural bulkheads and fuel tanks (which are customized to the shape of the hull) are also resin-infused, and the hull-to-deck is through-bolted every three inches and fiberglassed from inside for a rock-solid union.
The 180-square-foot cockpit is clean, streamlined and maximizes freedom of movement, with easy access to storage and service areas. The standard equipment list is extensive including lush rod holders; fresh and raw-water wash
down systems; transom fish box with live well, rounded coamings with indirect rope lighting below; side lockers for tag stick and gaff storage; quick disconnect fitting for oil changes for the engines, transmissions and generator; port and starboard in-deck insulated fish and stowage boxes and optional in-deck live well; and stereo speakers.
The layout of the flybridge makes excellent use of space, providing a variety and abundance of seating and storage. In addition to the helm and two companion pedestal chairs, there’s lounge seating to port and starboard with storage below. A third two-person lounge with fold-down armrests (and massive freezer beneath it) is integrated into the console’s forward end. In the four corners of the flybridge you’ll find more smart storage solutions, including a sink and a refrigerated drink box.
The interior of the Viking 64 offers an ideally open layout with a walkway that extends in a straight line from the salon all the way to the forepeak, heightening the sense of interior depth and space. The spacious salon has ample room for guests to sit and relax while the galley is fully-equipped for preparing meals and providing storage.
There are four staterooms below deck including the master and forward guestroom which are both ensuite and offer queen berths. The forward stateroom has the option of being built as a crossover berth.
The Viking 64 Convertible will also be available in the Enclosed Bridge model.
Twin MAN V12 1550CRM (1550 MHP) diesels serve as the standard power, with several options ranging from twin 1900 MHP to 2025 MHP powerplants. Hull No. 1 of the 64 Convertible will be powered with a pair of MTU Series 12V 2000 M96X (2022 MHP) engines

Hi, my name is Doug Donahue. I'm a Viking Yacht sales specialist with HMY Yachts in Palm Beach, Florida. Today, we're going to do a tour of the brand new Viking 64 Convertible. Also featured is a brand new hull color for Viking this year, Nardo Gray. Please welcome aboard. So we're going to start off in the cockpit area. It is a 180 square foot cockpit. This cockpit is massive for a 64 foot boat. Featured is a Palm Beach Towers custom tuna tower. Here you see three rod holders mounted on each aft leg of the tower. This particular 64 has a custom teak package, which is teak cover boards, teak coaming, teak transom, large in-deck transom kill box, which is also plumbed as a live bait well. Below me is a SeaKeeper gyro stabilizer, the SeaKeeper 26 model in this boat. Takes about 90% of the lateral roll out of the boat while you're idling, fishing in the trough, or even at the dock. It's an incredible piece of equipment. If you haven't experienced one, it's a must have. Full pass through transom gate. The index scuppers are threaded for a live bait well fittings. Below me are two in-deck fish boxes. They can be full length fish boxes with or without dividers. So continuing on to the mezzanine, you have large mezzanine seating with ultra leather upholstery, Bentley stitch insert, and lumbar support. So this is a highly upgraded, extremely comfortable cushion package with a cup holder armrest caddy. Below here is a full cockpit freezer. Up under here is also a freezer with bait trays. You have access to your engine room where we'll go in a little while. Insulated refrigerated drink box. And then we also have a refrigerated dunnage box. On this particular 64, this is where the Eskimo ice machine will discharge into the mezzanine box. You can also plumb it through to the fish box, but the concept behind putting it in the dunnage box is the ice stays nice and clean if you want to use it for purposes other than fish. Another great feature about the mezzanine cockpit is the cool breeze mezzanine air system. And lastly, this is a full release marine teak rocket launcher that we've been using in our sailfish application here this winter. Viking has completely restyled the bridge for the new 64 compared to the 62 that it replaced. One of the great features is the new console. It is an acrylic console with Boca tech switches. Viking has moved the entire console slightly aft. All of the electronic systems nowadays have gone to touchscreen. And because of the location and position of the panel, touchscreen is a breeze. You can get to it easily. You're not reaching too far. It's been a well received by the current owners of this model and people that have sea trialed it how easy it is to use the navigational equipment because of its proximity. So below the acrylic raised panel, you have two radio boxes with split lids. You have your bow thruster controls, engine controls, drop down box controls, trim tab indicators, your bow thruster. There's an octoplex repeater for your electrical panel. The bow thruster is integrated into the throttle handles. So when you're maneuvering the boat, you're basically just pushing the button either way and jockeying your boat port and starboard. Below the helm pod is your Furuno side scanning 360 degree sonar. And then here's the display for that up in the teaser rail box. The helm chairs are release marine trillion series captain's chairs. There's three of them. And you can see here a beautiful bow lounge that is right in front of the console with upgraded upholstery, lumbar support in the backrest, lumbar support in the leg rest. And that is just a wonderful place to lounge and enjoy your long ride home from a long day of fishing. So up above me is the Palm Beach Towers custom tuna tower. It has a Nardo gray buggy top to coincide with the hull color. Start stop switches, Garmin electronics package. Up above the buggy top is the DirecTV sat domes, which is a KVH HD7 and also a KVH V3 satellite phone antenna. So when we enter the salon and where I'm standing, your line of sight goes all the way down the companionway and into the VIP stateroom. The sense of overwhelming space is really pronounced here for how far you can see down the boat. It feels a lot bigger than 64 feet where I'm standing. Starting off on the port side is our electric distribution panel and Optiplex panel. This is our new horizontal grain walnut featured here in satin. We can also do a high gloss finish to this, but the horizontal grain is pronounced throughout the boat and it truly is stunning. You have a large pop-up TV. Here is a cocktail ice maker and then you have storage below the TV. Over on the starboard side is an ultra leather U-shaped sofa and an end table. So moving forward towards the galley, you have two large bar stools, quartz countertops. Your backsplash for the galley is all storage, which is new to this model. You can put a lot of stuff in there. Below the countertop is SubZero refrigeration. Because of the design of this galley, we can actually get three large SubZero drawers under here. So two of them are going to be deep freeze and two of them are going to be refrigerators. Across from that, there's room for a trash compactor, nice sink, surface mounted stove. The boat's also available for a convection oven below if somebody wanted to spec the boat with a convection oven. Across from the galley, you will find the dinette area. There's rod storage underneath the dinette. I believe we have dredges in here at the moment, but this is all nice rod storage area. Storage beneath both seats and a nice high-low table. And then forward is a large TV. If you didn't want the TV, that's a beautiful place of horizontal grain walnut there if you just wanted to hang a piece of artwork. Moving down the companionway, it's four steps. It's a very gradual transition. Here you can see an ultra leather insert into the companionway wall with short walnut strips below. It's a very nice touch. Definitely makes it more elegant in here. Over to the port side is a side-by-side bunk for your crew stateroom. And you can't help but notice the tremendous amount of headroom that you have. Forward of that is the third guest head with a stall shower, vacu-flush head, and vanity area. Adjacent to our third stateroom to the starboard side is the master stateroom, which has a large walk-around queen berth, custom frame TV, two large hanging closets, two end tables, and upholstered headboard. And then forward in the master stateroom is the private owner's ensuite head with custom M-Tico laminate floor and a nice border, black onyx granite countertops, headhunter head system, and a large stall shower. Moving forward to the port side is the Bosch washer dryer, and to the starboard side is a pantry closet. Moving forward to the port side is the fourth guest stateroom, which is upper and lower bunks, large TV, large hanging lockers, and storage drawers. And finally up forward is the VIP stateroom, which has a large walk-around island queen pedestal, six storage drawers below that, a large framed TV set, two large hanging lockers, private ensuite head with black onyx granite, and a stall shower. The engine room is first class with all Vikings, and especially on this model. She's powered by twin MTU 12V2000 M96Xs. You will also find two toolboxes forward in the engine room, as well as the sonar tube. And that's a wrap for the 64 Viking Convertible. My name is Doug Donahue, a Viking Yacht sales specialist with HMY Yachts in Palm Beach, Florida. Please give me a call if I can answer any additional questions for you, or if you'd like to tour this vessel in person.
