The versatile new Princess Yachts V50 proudly features a new and improved V Class exterior design. Available with either an enclosed or open main deck configuration, her elegant style is matched only by her responsive power, reaching speeds up to 32 knots. - Hey, I'm Simon Graham with HMY Yachts, we're here at the palm beach boat show for the North American premiere of the V50. Jump on board and we'll check out some of the new features.
- Making our way up from the swim platform to the aft deck, one of the new highlights for this v50 is the separate u-shaped and l-shaped seating to aft with the optional seat fill in. This allows access to the cockpit from the port side transom. Step to the starboard side we have a wet bar electric grill and refrigerator.
- As we enter the salon from the aft deck through the sliding doors to the starboard side, we have a pop-up tv. Opposite to that on the port side we have usage seating with a Harlow dining table bordering the salon. On the starboard side you'll see the old new stylings for the v50 with the dual captain's chairs and the full glass Garmin cockpit and the Volvo penta controls and joystick that power the new ips 600s. One thing that really stands out in this salon is the abundance of natural light from all the oversized windows and the glass paneling in the ceiling above.
- As we make our way downstairs, the first thing you notice to the port side is the beautifully well-equipped galley with solid surface countertops, three burner cooktop, microwave, and a stacked fridge and freezer with plenty of storage. Opposite the galley on the starboard side, you'll notice the new u-shaped seating which replaces the l-shaped from previous models. Forward in the dinette to the port side, you have the guest bathroom. This can be accessed as a day head from the dinette or as a private bathroom from the VIP cabin. The VIP cabin is well equipped with plenty of storage beneath the beds, a hanging closet to starboard and access through to the bathroom.
- On the port side entering the master stateroom, you'll notice this is a very well-equipped cabin with a beautiful queen-size berth with storage underneath and dressers to port and starboard. Forward on the port side next to the well-equipped entertainment system is a hanging locker. Forward on the starboard side, we have a beautiful master bath with a separate stole shower with a window that brings in ample natural light and with the fit and finish we all come to expect from Princess Yachts.
- The exterior of the v50 has been upgraded with a new up-to-date window line and air intake covers. Finally on the bow we have this beautiful, oversized sun pad. It's a great area for entertaining and hanging out with the guests.
