55 Convertible

2013–19

The dominant sportfishing yacht in her class for several years, the Viking 55 Convertible followed in the acclaimed footsteps of the original Viking 55 Convertible built in 1998–2004. Sleek and sporty with a huge cockpit and luxurious accommodations, the 55C is a competitive fishing machine and an ideal family cruiser. Entering from the cockpit, an electric sliding door opens to an expansive main salon with an L-shaped leather sofa to port and the dinette just forward. The starboard-side galley with Amtico flooring and two barstools at the counter was available in either an island or peninsula configuration. Below, the three-stateroom layout has the master suite to starboard and a twin-berth guest cabin to port. The forward VIP stateroom was offered with a walkaround island berth or angled over/under berths. A laundry center is accessed from a companionway door. A mezzanine deck with lounge seating overlooks the vast 151 square-foot cockpit complete with two in-deck fish boxes (or livewells), two freezers, a drink box and copious storage. An extended flybridge overhang provides shade on sunny days. Twin 1,550hp MAN V12 diesels cruise at 35–36 knots (40+ top).
