Sea Sport
2700 Seamaster
1994–2007
A distinctive boat with her forward-raked cabin profile, the Sea Sport 27 Seamaster is a Pacific Northwest fisherman ideally suited to the needs of northern anglers. The Seamaster is a trailerable boat thanks to her relatively narrow 8'6" beam, and she’s built on a solid fiberglass hull with hard chines and a well-flared bow. The cabin, which is heated using hot water from the engine cooling system, is arranged with a dinette to port, opposite the galley and helm station. (The helm seat tilts forward to provide additional counter space in the galley.) Note that there is no enclosed head compartment in the Seamaster; instead, a portable head is located forward, between the V-berths. The cockpit, which measures just over 80 square feet, is large enough for several anglers, and the low-profile engine box very unobtrusive. There are three large fish boxes in the cockpit sole as well as a small fish box built into the transom. There are no side decks, so foredeck access is sometimes problematic. Often found in commercial fleets, a standard 280hp gas I/O will cruise the 2700 Seamaster at 22–24 knots. A flybridge was optional.
