Riviera Yachts
4700-5000 Sport Yacht
2007–16
Building on the success of the Riviera 3600 Sport Yacht, the 4700 Sport Yacht continued the single-level concept of her predecessor while introducing a new aft galley layout and a fold-up window that opens the salon to the cockpit. Equipped with a hydraulic swim platform and aft garage designed to stow a RIB, the generous cockpit features an electric barbecue built into the transom, forward-facing transom lounge, and teak dinette table beneath an extended canopy. The salon of the 4700 SY is a spacious and inviting entertaining area with large windows, Amtico flooring, and a full length L-shaped leather lounge. A fold-out dinette table can be lowered to convert to a coffee table, and a large sun roof opens at the push of a button. The steps down, Riviera offers two accommodation layouts: a three-cabin and two-head design or two cabins and two heads, plus a below decks lounge area. At the foot of the stairs is space for an optional washer/dryer. Powered with Cat 715hp C12 inboard diesels, the Sport Yacht will cruise at 28 knots (low 30s top). In 2010, the 4700 SY evolved into the 5000 Sport Yacht, now equipped with 600hp Cummins-Zeus pod drives (24–25 knots cruise).
