276 Captiva Bowrider

2008–16

Rinker Yachts 276 Captiva Bowrider
The Rinker brand has long been idenjpgied with value and the company reputation for delivering a lot of boat for the money has been well established over the years. With the 276 Captiva, the Rinker design team produced a sporty and well-equipped runabout at a price competitors might well have envied. The Captiva’s deck layout differs a little from other midsize bowriders. Instead of having the walk-through to the swim platform set to starboard as it is in many boats, the 276 has its walk-through on the centerline which experienced boaters will prefer for safety reasons. And while most bowriders have an in-deck ski locker between the helm seats, the Captiva has two. A power hatch over the engine compartment is standard and instead of a single large aft sun pad, the 276 has two, each with storage under. The aft-facing transom seats (also with storage under) will come in handy for watching skiers. Typical of a Rinker boat, the Captiva came equipped with an extensive list of standard equipment. A single MerCruiser 375hp sterndrive will reach a top speed of close to 45 knots. Note that the 276 Captiva referenced here was replaced in 2013 with a new 276 Captiva model.
