Regal Yachts
33 Express
2018–Current
Called the Regal 32 Express before 2018, the 33 Express and her sistership, the outboard-powered 33 XO, are top-tier family cruisers designed for dayboating, entertaining, and weekending. In most respects, the Regal 33 is a traditional express cruiser with sporty styling, a roomy cockpit, and a functional mid-cabin interior. What makes her different is the build quality—the fit and finish of any Regal boat is always a step above the crowd. Built on a Hunt-designed deep-V hull, the cockpit is the focal point of this boat. A unique feature of the Regal 33 is the electric slide-away aft bench seat which can extend or retract almost a foot, greatly expanding either the swim platform area or cockpit space. The seat back can adjust to face forward or aft or lowered to make a large sun pad—very nice. A molded entertainment center abaft the helm seat includes a refrigerator, sink, and optional TV and electric grill. Below, hullside windows provide plenty of natural lighting in the innovative cabin with berths for six, an enclosed head and shower, and compact galley. The mid-cabin berth is actually a king-sized bed. Twin 300hp Volvo sterndrive engines cruise the 33 Express at 24–25 knots (about 40 knots top).
