Rampage Yachts
30 Open; 30 Offshore
2002–06
Rampage got it right with the 30 Offshore (called the 30 Open when she was introduced in 2002), a high-end diesel express with the DNA of a pocket battlewagon. Notable for her classic “Palm Beach” styling and excellent finish, the Offshore features a large cockpit area with a transom door (with top lid), full coaming bolsters, 38-gallon lighted baitwell, insulated fish box that is both removable and macerated, and fresh and raw water washdowns. The lockable tackle center has a gasketed top, large slide-out storage drawers with dividers, and a molded fiberglass sink with spray nozzle and removable cutting board. An electrically actuated engine hatch makes engine inspections easy. Note the Offshore’s center helm position. Below, the settee lounge converts to upper and lower sleeping bunks with rod storage beneath. The offset double berth forward has a queen-sized mattress with storage under, and the galley comes complete with refrigerator, electric stove, microwave, storage drawers and cabinets. Built on a fully cored hull with moderate beam, 315hp Yanmar diesels cruise in the mid 20s (30+ top).
