Ocean Yachts 42 Super Sport

For over 30 years, Ocean Yachts has produced a series of stylish and affordable Super Sport models for generations of offshore boating enthusiasts. Known for their luxurious interiors and spirited performance, Super Sports have thrived over the years in one of the most demanding—and competitive—segments of the boating market. Introduced in 2006, the 42 Super Sport (note that a previous 42 SS model was built in 1991–95) is a versatile, luxury-class convertible equally suited for tournament-level fishing or extended family cruising. Her clever two-stateroom interior features a well-appointed salon/dinette/galley area on the deckhouse level and two full heads below (most 42-footers have only one). The galley is on the small side for a boat this size but the master stateroom layout, with an a athwartships queen and forward head compartment, is as comfortable as it is innovative. Note the big storage room under the galley, and washer/dryer combo in the guest stateroom. Cockpit amenities include a transom livewell, in-deck fish boxes, and direct engine room access. An underwater exhaust system reduces noise and cockpit fumes. Cat 510hp diesels cruise at 25–26 knots (30 knots top).
