Ocean Master

27 Center Console

1987–15

Ocean Master 27 Center Console
The Ocean Master 27 is a semicustom fisherman with a myriad of features designed to appeal to the serious angler. Basically a no-frills boat sold factory-direct, her tank-like construction and practical deck layout are immediately apparent. The cockpit is large enough to accommodate several anglers, and the console is designed with a walk-in storage area below with room for optional head and shower. The subject of many revisions over the years, in 2000 the 27 was updated with a new deck plan with more storage capacity than the original model. The console was slightly downsized; the freeboard was increased by three inches, and a full inner liner was introduced into the construction process. Standard features include a bow casting deck with storage under, anchor locker, trim tabs, raw-water washdown, leaning post with rod holders, gunnel rod holders (4), cockpit rod storage racks, insulated fish box (forward), forward console seat with livewell, dive ladder, cockpit lights, and cockpit bolsters. A walk-in console with Porta-Potti was optional. No lightweight, the Ocean Master 27 tops out around 40 knots with twin 200hp outboards.
