The main salon joinery is bright-finish cherry with off white bulkheads. There is a traditional V-berth with filler plus a small settee on the port side in the forward stateroom. A bi-fold door ensures privacy when needed. The forward bulkhead has a pass-through that opens up to the galley. The main salon area consists of a well-equipped galley to port and a dining area to starboard, complete with folding teak breakfast table. At the aft end of the main cabin, there are doors to a split-head arrangement with a sink and toilet compartment to port and a stall shower and cedar-lined hanging locker to starboard. Up three steps to the pilothouse, one finds the helm to starboard and the navigation station to port. There is also an L-shaped settee to port with a large teak cockpit table. Just aft of the helm is an upholstered bench which houses the cockpit refrigerator. Down two steps is the cockpit with stern bench seat, stainless grab rails and a centerline transom door for access to the swim platform. Triple 420 hp diesels and a jet propulsion system take the T44 to a cruising speed of 32 knots with a top speed of 38 knots. (Manufacturer Provided Description)
