Legacy 32 Express
A classic Downeast-style boat, the Legacy 32 has been a favorite among seasoned boaters since she was introduced in 2006. A wide 12'4" beam gives the 32 a wide-open feeling giving the impression of a much larger boat. Facing settees on the semi-enclosed helm deck can accommodate several passengers, and the helm and companion seats can be electrically lowered to extend the settees—very clever. The side windows open for ventilation, and a removable table fits into a base socket on the bridge deck floor. Below, the upscale cherrywood interior of the Legacy 32 features a well-equipped galley at the foot of the companionway with a deep sink and microwave, a standup head to starboard with separate stall shower, and a private bow stateroom forward with an island queen berth. A center transom door is standard and a swim platform runs across the transom to provide easy boarding access. Bow and stern thrusters were popular options. Additional features include underwater exhaust system, cockpit shower, and wide side decks. A single 380hp Cummins diesel will cruise the Legacy 32 at 18–19 knots (mid 20s top).
