Gulfstream 232
1987–18
The 232 is a stable, roomy boat with a cockpit full of fishing-friendly features including a large icebox and sink, built-in rod holders, tackle and rod storage, livewell, and fishbox . Nonskid decking and a recessed walkaround cockpit give the Gulfstream 232 a sure tread. Toe rails and the high interior freeboard provide an extra measure of safety for leaning out to gaff or release a fish. Besides the two-berth cabin, there's aft-facing seating, molded-in aft bench seating and foredeck cushions. (Manufacturer Provided Description)
EDITOR NOTES: Wide-body walkaround fisherman with backet-mounted outboard power offers the most spacious fishing cockpit in this class. Fishing features include 36-gallon livewell, 265-quart fish box, cutting board, wide walkways. Helm console is larger than most in her class with room for large screen displays. Solid, safe, feature-rich sport fishing boat that more than holds its own in big water. Tops out at 40 mph with single Yamaha 250; high 40s with twin 200s. Over-wide hull width requires permit for trailering. Overall, a good coastal fishing boat the family.
