The Fisherman 222 features a raised forward casting platform with two 55-quart fish boxes and one 272-quart fish box. The cockpit has a forward console seat with cushion and two pedestal chairs. A leaning bar with backrest is optional. The console features a lockable electronics box, a windshield with handrails, and ample storage under the console footrest. Horizontal rod racks, rod holders, anchor locker, and two 20-quart lift out boxes are standard. (Manufacturer Provided Description)
EDITOR NOTES: High gunnels result in a deep, secure cockpit. Design features include toe rails, bow casting platform, and an enclosed head/storage compartment. The tall console windshield provides good high-speed wind protection. Forward livewell location is a little inconvenient. Note the fold-down motorwell bulkhead. Top speed of over 40 mph with a Yamaha 225 engine. The 222 is built like a small tank, they last forever.
