1987–89

Donzi F33
Based on the hull of Donzi’s Z-33 go-fast racing boat, the F-33 (the F stands for fishing) is a rugged center console with a well-established reputation for superior offshore performance and a great ride. She’s built on a fully cored deep-V hull with a narrow beam and a steep 24 degrees of transom deadrise. While the Donzi’s cockpit dimensions are small compared to most 33-foot sportfisherman, there’s still plenty of room for a couple of anglers to work without feeling cramped for deck space. At the helm, the wide console has space for mounting electronics, and there’s a bench seat forward with storage under. Fishing features include an in-deck livewell, leaning post/rocket launcher, a flip-up cutting board at the transom, raw water washdown, and recessed storage compartments. Forward, the small cuddy provides basic overnight accommodations for three with V-berths and a quarter berth, manual toilet, and mini-galley. Four full-size rod racks are mounted on the cabin wall. A superb open-water performer with plenty of sex appeal, twin 225hp outboards cruise the Donzi F-33 at 25 knots with a top speed of around 40 knots.
