The Cruisers 3650/3750 Motor Yacht (called the 3650 MY in 1995–99; 3750 MY in 2000–03; 375 MY in 2004–05) is a contemporary aft-cabin cruiser with rakish lines and a surprisingly spacious interior. Indeed, Cruisers engineers were able to deliver the accommodations of a 40-footer in the 3650 including queen beds in both staterooms, a full dinette and galley, and a tub in the aft head compartment. This is a completely open layout with plenty of natural lighting, plenty of headroom and a pleasant cherrywood decor. Expansive as this floorplan is, the staterooms are both on the small side and hanging locker space is limited. Topside, there’s space on small aft deck for several pieces of outdoor furniture and a big U-shaped lounge on the flybridge provides seating for five or six guests across from the helm. Despite the spacious interior, the side decks are wide enough for secure access to the bow, and molded-in steps (instead of a ladder) make boarding from the stern platform an easy matter. In 1999, this boat was updated with improved wing doors and fiberglass enclosure panels for the aft deck. MerCruiser 310hp (or 370hp) gas inboards cruise at 18 knots (low to mid 20s top).
