3020-3120 Aria
1992–96
Sharing the same fully cored hull as the 3070 Rogue (1990–94), the 3120 Aria—called the 3020 Aria from 1992–94—stands out from other 30-foot express cruisers for her enormous cockpit. Indeed, about two-thirds of her overall hull length is devoted to cockpit space, resulting in a superb day boat with room for a party-size gathering. The entire stern section of the cockpit is lined with seating that folds away and disappears in the inwales. With all of the seat sections deployed, the cockpit becomes a giant sun lounge. A wet bar/galley is located in the cockpit where it’s easily accessed by guests and crew. Note that a huge storage bin is located beneath the cockpit floor. Below deck, the Aria’s compact interior features a convertible dinette/V-berth forward, storage compartments, mini-galley with sink and stove, and an enclosed head with vanity and sit-down shower. A midcabin berth was optional beneath the helm, space that might better be used for storage. An anchor roller, dockside water inlet, shore power and trim tabs were standard. Among several engine options, twin 260hp sterndrives cruise at 21 knots (35 top), and optional 350hp engines cruise at 25 knots (about 40 knots wide open).
