347 SSX

Flagship of the Chaparral fleet when she was introduced, the 347 SSX is a hybrid bowrider/cruiser that offers boaters a spacious bowrider layout forward and a compact cabin below. Designed for cruising and entertaining, the 347 SSX seats six up front and sleeps two in a full-beam cabin below complete with an entertainment console, enclosed head/shower compartment, and overnight accommodations for two. The small galley has a solid-surface countertop, a trash receptacle, and an optional stainless steel microwave. The cedar-lined hanging locker with built-in light is a nice touch, and two opening ports provide cabin ventilation. The 347's bow area offers a two-person seat to starboard and a wraparound lounge to port with molded-in lockers beneath each. A removable table can be positioned in the bow or moved aft for use in the cockpit. An electric windlass is optional and pop-up cleats are standard. The 347’s fiberglass hardtop is equipped with LED lighting and a twin-pane sunroof, and offers the option of a powered, retractable cockpit awning. Twin 300hp 6.2L MerCruiser stern drives with joystick controls reach a top speed of over 40 knots.
