Chaparral
300 OSX
2020–Current
The Chaparral 300 OSX is a good-looking day cruiser with spirited performance, a sharp deadrise hull for a smooth ride, and a unique centerline console. The layout combines the best elements of a center console boat with the family-friendly features found in a modern bowrider. In a clever design touch, the helm seat rotates from the navigation position to the starboard deck bulkhead creating a wide-open cockpit area for entertaining. Aft, reclining lounge backrests can change position with the push of a button to allow full length lounging in the forward or aft positions. A removable teak-inlay table can be installed in front of the lounge. Two steps down provides access to a small cabin with a fold-out berth, sink and a stowable, slide-out portable toilet. The entire aft seat structure lifts at the push of a button for access to the engine compartment. A windlass is standard on the 300 OSX—a feature seldom found in a boat this size—and a hullside door makes boarding easy. Forward, the 300’s bow seating area includes a sun pad and a removable table. The hardtop has an electric sunshade extending to the transom seat. Twin 300hp Yamaha outboards deliver a top speed of just over 50 knots.
