270 Signature

A good-selling model with more eye appeal than many boats in this class, the Chaparral 270 Signature is an updated version of the previous 270 Signature (2007–09) with slightly revised exterior styling, minor interior upgrades, and a bit more deadrise at the transom. Like her predecessor, the 270 is a fully trailerable single-engine cruiser with an integrated swim platform and distinctive reverse arch. Standard features include a walk-thru windshield, cockpit table, wet bar with portable ice chest, premium sound system, transom bench seat (with storage under), transom gate, drink holders, hot/cold transom shower, tilt steering, trim tabs, dual helm seat, and a transom storage locker. An aft sun pad is optional. Note the molded cockpit steps to port for boarding and deck access. Below deck, the 270’s slender, well-appointed midcabin interior with U-shaped forward seating includes a compact galley with microwave and an enclosed, standup head/shower. Among several engine choices, a single 320hp 6.2L MerCruiser I/O will cruise the 270 Signature in the mid 20s (about 35 knots top).
