New for 2018, Chaparral referred to the 267 SSX is a “trendsetter in design, performance, and function.” The helm features a glass dash with dual touch screen displays. The cockpit is open, spacious and features a multi-position sun lounger aft. The open concept design carries forward into the bow area which features hinged storage beneath luxuriously appointed upholstery. The interior of the 267SSX was designed with an open concept atmosphere. Luxurious wraparound seating lines the perimeter seating around the cockpit and storage is concealed beneath. Stereo speakers, stainless beverage holders, and safety rails are concealed out of the way, yet easily accessible. On the port side, an L-shaped settee can also accommodate a cockpit table. On the starboard side, a wide seat conceals a large carry on cooler. The aft section of the seating effortlessly transforms into a wide and expansive lay-flat lounge. Either end of the lounger can be raised up to maximize comfort. In the upright position, the aft facing portion is ideal for watching swimmers or preparing for watersports. Overview: Big state-of-the-art runabout successfully blends sleek styling, uncompromising workmanship, excellent big-water performance.@Features: Standard layout includes cockpit galley, huge swim platform, enclosed head/change compartment, wide bow area, U-shaped cockpit seating, good engine access. Centerline transom door makes boarding easy.@Comments: Above-average finish; excellent gelcoat. Definitely on the pricey side for a 26-footer@Performance: Single 320hp Volvo DuoProp I/O will cruise in the mid 30s (45–50 mph top).
