52 Express

Fast, powerful, and far-ranging, the Cabo 52 took express-boat size and muscle to the next level when she was introduced in 2006. (Not to be outdone, Viking unveiled their own 52-foot express the following year, the Viking 52 Open.) If bigger is really better, the Cabo 52 should easily satisfy the needs of the most demanding offshore angler. Built on a modified-V hull, the oversized cockpit and enormous bridge deck of the 52 are made possible by the boat’s broad 17'9" beam. Standard fishing amenities include a bait-rigging station with freezer, 75-gallon transom livewell, two large in-deck fish boxes, and tackle storage drawers. Forward, a centerline helm position provides the captain with a clear 360-degree view of the action. The cavernous twin-stateroom interior of the Cabo 52 boasts a spacious main salon with U-shaped leather sofa to port, overhead rod storage, and a full-service galley opposite with Sub-Zero refrigerator/freezer, garbage disposal, and Corian counters. Note the day head aft of the galley. MAN 1,500hp engines cruise at 33–35 knots (about 40 knots top).
