58 Convertible

The Davis 58 is a classic Carolina style sportfisherman with that elusive combination of elegant lines, solid construction and exciting open-water performance. Built on a tapered modified-V hull with cored hullsides and a well-flared bow, the 58 carries considerably more deadrise at the transom than previous Buddy Davis boats. (Note that Davis also offers a shallow-draft propeller-tunnel option with this hull.) The standard three-stateroom, galley-up layout is offered in several configurations with either two or three heads. A dinette is forward in the salon, opposite the galley, and the interior woodwork found throughout the Davis 58 is grain-matched and well above average for a semi-custom boat. An extended flybridge overhang shades the forward part of the cockpit, and the centerline helm console on the bridge sports a retractable electronics cabinet. Additional features include a well-arranged engine room with standing headroom, a full array of fishing amenities in the cockpit, bow pulpit and wraparound bridge seating for a small crowd. A great performer with MTU 1,480hp diesels, the Davis 58 will cruise at knots and reach a top speed of 33–34 knots.
