Swift Trawler 35
Successor to the popular Swift Trawler 34 (of which more than 400 were built), the Beneteau Swift Trawler 35 is a stylish coastal cruiser designed to appeal to sailors and powerboaters alike. The interior features a traditional layout with the convertible dinette to starboard in the salon and the U-shaped galley forward to port. Large salon windows flood the interior with natural lighting and a glass door next to the lower helm makes single-handed docking easy. There are two cabins below. The master stateroom with island berth is forward and the guest stateroom with bunk beds is to port. Both share a single head with separate stall shower. The Swift Trawler’s asymmetric design—the starboard side deck is wider than the port side deck—maximizes salon space. A two panel transom door opens the cockpit to the swim platform, and a large hatch in the cockpit sole provides access to the engine. Telescoping transom brackets provide pickup points for a dinghy, very cool. Additional features include sliding glass entry doors, teak cockpit sole, bow and stern thrusters and a starboard-side boarding gate. A single Cummins 425hp diesel will cruise the Swift Trawler 35 at 12 knots (16–18 knots top).
