On August 24, New York's skyline had a new co-star. TAIL LIGHTS, the 116' Azimut motor yacht, was photographed cruising the East River, and SuperYacht Times picked the shot as its Photo of the Day. For her captain, the trip was a homecoming of sorts. Captain Sean Kampfer grew up on Long Island and got his start running water taxis and mid-size passenger vessels into the city before a summer on a New England charter yacht drew him into yachting for good. Now he's bringing TAIL LIGHTS back to the waters where his career began.
TAIL LIGHTS is built for families and groups who want every day to feel like a private resort. The flybridge is the center of it all, and the owner's suite is a true retreat. The full-beam master sits amidships behind its own private staircase, with a king bed, sitting area, self-service bar, and an en-suite with a soaking tub and separate rain shower.

Rate: From $85,000 to $95,000 per week, plus expenses.
As the New England season winds down, TAIL LIGHTS turns south for winter in the Bahamas and Caribbean. Dates for the season ahead are already being reserved.
