The 2025 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show was one to remember for HMY Yacht Sales, with several major industry debuts and a noticeable sense of energy returning to the docks.

As a new boat dealer, HMY was proud to represent some of the show’s biggest unveilings — including the world debut of the Viking 50 Convertible, the highly anticipated Valhalla V55 Sport Yacht, and Valhalla’s exciting new announcement of the V46 Sport Yacht. Across the marina, Princess Yachts drew crowds with the debut of the all-new F58 Flybridge Motor Yacht as well as the premiere of the S80 – the largest Sportbridge model, while Nimbus impressed with the show debut of the 495 Flybridge.

The ECLIPSE Flag Blue 505 Shadow stood as a highlight of this year’s show — a vivid expression of ECLIPSE’s forward-thinking approach to yacht design. Built on customer feedback and real-world experience, this model represents the next evolution of the 505 platform: refined, balanced, and performance driven. Subtle refinements throughout the layout underscored ECLIPSE’s reputation for listening, adapting, and improving.

This year’s show also marked an exciting milestone for HMY — our first Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show as an authorized MJM Yachts dealer. We were proud to represent MJM’s line of performance-oriented, luxury day yachts, which drew attention for their modern design, innovative construction, and refined comfort. The addition of MJM Yachts to our portfolio further strengthens HMY’s ability to offer clients an exceptional range of options across every boating lifestyle.

Reflecting on this year's show, HMY Director of Sales, Tim Derrico, shared,

“You could feel a shift this year — there were real signs of life on the docks,” said Derrico. “We had several new and brokerage sales, and the overall energy was really positive.”

Despite some broader market hesitation, Tim’s takeaway points to encouraging momentum and a clear sense that buyer confidence is beginning to build again. The enthusiasm from both seasoned owners and new prospects suggests a strong 2026 ahead for the yachting industry.

From landmark debuts to strong sales activity, HMY was proud to once again be part of the world’s greatest boat show — where innovation, passion, and performance take center stage.
