Another Year of Swedish Excellence: A Look Back at 2024 with Nimbus

With heightened interest within the US market and an ongoing commitment to premium comfort and performance, Swedish boat maker Nimbus has had a string of exciting years recently, and 2024 was no exception. From awe-inspiring debuts and appearances at boat shows to an exclusive factory visit, the team at HMY has been thrilled to enjoy a front-row seat while participating in the brand’s ongoing success. As the year draws to an end, we’re taking a look back at some of the most iconic Nimbus moments of 2024.

Causing a Stir at The Biggest Boat Shows

When boat show attendees first see a Nimbus in person, it stops them in their tracks. Upon first glance, there’s a clear understanding that these are vessels of superior value and quality, and from the spacious Tender (“T”) 11 to the spry Commuter series, these exquisite Scandinavian boats offer something for everyone.

To give the public a firsthand look at the impressive functionality, sleek Swedish styling, and outstanding versatility of Nimbus, we showcased various models at the world’s largest boat shows throughout the 2024 season, including:

Always ready for a unique adventure, and to make it easy for potential customers to lay their eyes on beautiful Nimbus boats for sale, HMY also deviated from the traditional boat show path and displayed a couple of Nimbus models at Barrett-Jackson, the classic car auction. Back at our home base, we also invited locals to see Nimbus boats in the water during our demo days at our office on Monet Road, which resulted in the sale of a coveted T11 model.

Our Visit to Nimbus Headquarters in Sweden

Another exciting Nimbus development this year was HMY Yacht Sales Professional and Nimbus brand specialist Nick Stamoulis’ visit to the brand’s headquarters in Sweden. There, Nick got a peek at some of the exciting developments the boat maker has underway. His trip included the launching of their new flagship, the 495 Flybridge, Hull #1. You may recall our hints at the eagerly awaited 495 in our July blog, and while we likely won’t see any models stateside for several months, features like the innovative docking system and updated technology package will certainly be worth the wait.
